Today, we were heading back south to home on I-75 and dear friends of ours were minutes behind us. Long story short, they were in an accident (this picture doesn't do justice to the damage in reality!). Two of them whacked their heads pretty good and I have no doubt they will all be very, very sore tomorrow, but God was watching over them. After hitting a guard rail, they flew back sideways across the highway - it's amazing there was a break in traffic and they weren't hit by another car. They did spin around and hit the guardrail again. We are so thankful they are all OK and we all made it home this evening. I am so relieved they are fine; right now sitting here it's really kind of hitting me more how much worse this could have turned out.Friday, August 22, 2008

I am glad they were not seriously hurt, although I know from experience that they will be mighty sore for the next few days from the soft tissue damage (whip lash).
I would like to thank you (belatedly) for the kind, supporting comment you made to my issues post. Despite everything, life is good. cr
Oh my, that doesn't look good. Thank God they are not seriously hurt.
Hope you had a wonderful time at Mackinac Island
I am so glad you were able to get a picture. I don't think anything sunk in until this morning. We are so lucky we didn't get seriously injured or we didn't hit anyone else. We can't thank you enough for turning around and helping us and then following us the rest of the way home. We are so blessed to have you all as friends.
